Happy holidays

Wishing everyone warmth as the season (finally!) turns to cold days and freezing nights... and we enter the winter holiday season.

Season Over

The warm days of summer and those cooling "river" breezes have given way to the chill nights of Autumn and, for now, the beach has closed.

Thanks to everyone who came from the boats, LIC and beyond... When you see us make sure you say hi!

10 to 15 degree cooler in the summer makes 90 degree days a nice 75 but 50 at the beach in the Fall could easily be 44 and that's way to cold!

End of Season

the end of the season approaches...

a few big events.. Murray Hill on Oct 6th and our end of season party for the American Cancer Society on Oct 10th. Our last day. That event will be from 2pm until we run out of stuff! Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 for kids and $1 for wee ones..

Hours

Sept 21st, this Wednesday, will be the last Wednesday we will be open this season.

For the remainder of the season we will be open 4 days a week (Thurs to Sunday).

We will be open Monday Oct 10th. From 2pm until "we run out of stuff." We will be holding a benefit on Monday Oct 10th for the American Cancer Society ACS.

There will be no charge for any thing at the beach as we will be clearly out all our "inventory" of food and drink.

There is a suggested donation of $10 for adults, $5 for children and $1 for babies.

What: Located in Long Island City, Harry’s Water Taxi Beach offers ample doses of water, sand, and sky big enough to tide you over till next season. They’ve trucked in Jersey sand and a couple dozen picnic tables to create a manmade beach, complete with a tiki hut. Get there right after work, order up a grilled all-beef hot dog ($2) or a fish taco ($5), and wash it all down with a PBR tallboy ($2) or a cocktail of your choice.

When: Wed. to Fri. 4-12, Sat. to Sun. 12-12, until Oct. 10th

Where: Borden and Second St, Hunters Point Queens

The Beach will be closed TODAY Wednesday Aug 31st. 2005 due to weather concerns.

We are still finalizing all the details (stay posted), but we will have a TRIO of later night events on Sept. 8th, 9th and 10th. All three events are expected to have FREE admission.

Labor Day Weekend

Just reminding everyone that our Wednesday and Thursday hours are weather dependent.

Our currently scheduled hours of operation for this week as follows:

Wed - Aug 31 -- 4 to 12 (or later)
Thur - Sept 1st -- 4 to 12 (or later)
Fri - Sept 2nd -- 4 to 12 (or later)
Sat - Sept 3rd -- 12 to 12 (or later, typically 3am)
Sun - Sept. 4th -- 12 to 12 (it's not a school night so open late!)
Mon - Sept. 5th -- 12 to 12 (until the party stops..)

We will be open rain or shine on Fri, Sat and Sun (Sept. 2nd, 3rd, and 4th) and Labor Day Monday Sept 5th.

We have been getting a lot of press lately. Attendance has been up and we have been hiring like crazy. Add new bartenders and waitstaff to the roster. The folks at the main office have also been adding more ticket window staff so there should always be a ticket agent there during Water Taxi operations.

1 weekend

We got off to a big start on Friday Night.. Lots of folks as we hoped coming off of the NY Water Taxi boats and stopping by for a drink. Some neighbor folks including lots of Moms & Dads also coming by. Everyone made us feel welcome and that was really appreciated. We stayed open til 1pm...

Saturday was a bit slower and we stayed until Midnight as promissed. Sunday was very slow do to the rain, but it was nice and cool along the water and the rain was never bad! We ended up closing at 11pm.

Been so busy trying to build the beach I didn't have time to start the BLOG that I had wanted... And I didn't want to say anything about it until it was a done deal...

Ok, so here we go.. Water Taxi Beach is opperated by New York Water Taxi. Harry Hawk the Schnack Master has hired on as the Beach Master and brought along a few of his friends including Tony, Camila, Carmela, Sabby, Joe and Cindy.

Cand mi-am cumparat primul aparat geometrie directie roti 3D  a durat ceva timp pana m-am decis, deoarece trebuia sa aleg un stand geometrie directie roti 3D de o calitate buna fiindca investitia era una mare si nu puteam risca sa investesc intr-un lucru o suma atat de mare si sa nu obtinem rezultatele dorite.

Trebuie sa cunoastem ca indiferent de producatorul de la care vom cumpara un aparat geometrie directie roti 3D pretul la care il vom cumpara va fi unul mare, deoarece un astfel de echipament nu este o simpla truse de scule.

Un aparat geometrie directie roti 3D este o investitie buna dar si foarte costisitoare, deoarece este un echipament mecanic cu un soft foarte bine pus la punct si care ne ajuta sa detectam toate erorile pe care le prezinta directia unei masini pentru a le regla in parametrii optimi.

De aceea este o alegere grea, cel putin asa a fost pentru mine, deoarece nu stiam exact ce sa aleg, si de unde sa fac pana la urma aceasta achizitie pentru a fi multumit, atat eu cat si clientii mei.

Am cautat si am cercetat piata aprope 2 saptamani, am ascultat diverse pareri si opinii, foarte multe persoane imi recomandau sa il iau la mana a doua, insa acest lucru nici nu se punea in discutie.

Intr-un final am gasit un magazin online de unde  mai achizitionasem anterior alte echipamente si truse pentru service si de care fusesem si foarte multumit.

Nu stiam ca pot gasi aici si aparate geometrie, insa intr- o seara am descoperit produsul nu am mai sta pe ganduri si l-am cumparat.

Va recomand sa vizitati site-ul aparat-geometrie.ro unde veti gasi foarte multe echipamente mecanice de care are nevoie un service auto, si de unde puteti cumpara cu incredere, deoarece produsele au fost cumparate si testate de mine persoanal, dar si de alte persoane care detin service-uri auto.
